UZINFOCOM Contributes to the Development of Crypto Assets in Uzbekistan

Research by RISE Research has revealed that Uzbekistan ranks first in Central Asia and the Caucasus and 33rd globally in the global crypto asset adoption index.
The study of five countries, interviews with market leaders, and the analysis of startups have confirmed the rapid development of the digital ecosystem in the region. Uzbekistan stands out with its comprehensive regulatory framework, which encompasses licensing, mining, tokenization, and circulation of crypto assets.
A significant contributor to the development of crypto assets in Uzbekistan is the Single Integrator UZINFOCOM, which implements innovative technologies and creates unique projects defining the future of the country’s digital economy.
One of the notable projects is the issuance of NFT certificates for domain names in the .UZ zone. In 2023-2024, more than 1009 certificates were issued, ensuring a high level of transparency and protection for users. This project became one of the first successful examples of blockchain technology application in domain zone administration.
Another major achievement is the creation of the blockchain platform Token.uz for businesses and the government. This is a universal distributed data registry based on blockchain technology that ensures transparent data storage and high-speed transaction processing. In 2023-2024, 1,554,875 blocks were confirmed on the platform, and the total number of transactions reached 592,905. These figures demonstrate the platform's high demand among both government and private organizations.
Uzbekistan shows dynamic growth in the development of crypto assets. This can be attributed to the support of innovative projects and the high level of technological literacy among the population, a significant part of which consists of young specialists. State support combined with the efforts of companies like UZINFOCOM enables Uzbekistan to strengthen its position not only in the region but also on the global stage of digital assets.
