On September 22, the 19th International Conference of National Domain Administrators and Registrars, TLDCON 2026, officially opened in Tashkent.

The conference is hosted by UZINFOCOM, the Single Integrator. The event brings together representatives of national domain registries and registrars, international organizations, government institutions, and technology companies.

TLDCON provides a platform for domain industry professionals to exchange practical experience and discuss current issues related to the development of national domain zones and Internet infrastructure.

The TLDCON 2026 programme covers key industry topics, including the development of DNS infrastructure and domain ecosystems, cybersecurity, combating abuse in the domain environment, marketing and promotion of national domains, as well as the application of modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

One of the sessions on the first day was “AI in Internet Infrastructure: From Support to Cyber Protection and Domain Ecosystems.” The session featured Shahnoza Khojabekova, a programmer at the .UZ Domain Administration. She delivered a presentation on the use of artificial intelligence in the .UZ domain zone, highlighting practical areas where AI technologies can be applied in the activities of a domain administration.

As part of the conference, participants continue to exchange experience and discuss current issues related to the development of the domain industry, Internet infrastructure, and the application of modern technologies.
